Tennis Court Competition Standards
The lighting of tennis courts is determined by different organizations based on the level of play on the court. These levels are usually called Class I, II, III, and IV.
*Note* While many facilities may span lighting levels, lighting levels should be determined by age and skill. Facilities with a large number of older players will require higher-intensity lighting systems.

For the tennis semi-finals broadcast on TV, the illuminance level of the semi-final total competition area should be based on the value of the main competition area.
Tennis court lighting design (best solution for 2022)
Based on our years of experience in lighting design, usually for tennis courts, most of the light poles will be 6-8m (20ft-26.7ft). Depending on the court’s lighting requirements, the court lights’ wattage is usually 300-500 W. The solutions below are for reference.
